HistoryTextBox |
This control will improve the input of your application by keeping a configurable history of previously entered text items that the user can re-use. Each new item that the user enters into the TextBox will be stored for possible access in the future (even if the application is closed and re-opened).
A developer can also configure the control to use its own history or configure it to use a collective list that is shared throughout the app. This will save your users valuable time if your application requires lots of free-hand input. |
|
|
|
| Features: |
| - |
Each control can keep a unique history list or use a collective one that is shared throughout the application. |
| - |
Configurable list size |
| - |
Supports a "tooltip" feature that allows the user to view an entire item listed in the drop list. The drop list will show each item in a single line. If the user clicks and holds down on an item, a tooltip will show the entire text. |
| - |
Option menu that allows the user to delete items from the history list. |
| - |
Configurable fonts and display colors (text, list selection, tooltip). |
| - |
Contains the same characteristics of a standard TextBox control. |
|
|
| |
LetterRecTextBox |
This control allows a user to enter text using a popup letter recognition window. The user will always see their entire input when they use this control.
Its goal is to improve the letter recognition input of text because it offers a better interface when compared to the standard letter recognition input panel of the operating system. The soft input panel (SIP) will always cover the bottom 1/3 of your Form. If you place a TextBox in that area, the user will be prevented from seeing their entire input because the input panel will cover it. |
|
|
|
| Features: |
| - |
Smart popup placement |
| - |
Configurable display styles (standard PocketPC style to 3D button styles) |
| - |
Configurable display colors (Input pen, options menu, etc) |
| - |
Input of uppercase, lowercase, and numeric data |
| - |
Contains the same characteristics of a standard TextBox control |

Release Details of Version 3.2.0.0 |
|
| |
SpiderUI 3.0 will revolutionize your application's user interface! Over the past 2 years we have viewed the SpiderUI from above, but now it's time to view the SpiderUI from the side. In version 3.0, the SpiderUI will support "Top View" and "Side View" display modes.
The current version of the SpiderUI is rendered in a "Top View" display mode that requires the entire Form. Using the new "Side View" display mode, the control will only require half of your Form... thus leaving you with more space for other controls. These display modes allow the SpiderUI to adapt to the requirements of your application. The following flash animation was created from the actual sample code: |
